All students will meet with George Hambrecht before checking-in.  You will be assigned 1-2 pieces of checked-in luggage.  You must get to the airport at least 3 hours before flight for international.  It is strongly advisable that you get there about 3.5-4 hours earlier just to avoid any problems.  Please keep in mind that it is advisable that your personal luggage be taken on as carry-on luggage (except fluids).  Once you land in Antigua, our colleagues will obtain all the field equipment you were assigned and ship it by boat due to the inter-island weight restriction (Hence the 40lbs limit).

Luggage Restriction

Please be reminded that the luggage restriction for this trip is 40 lbs. total.  If you go over this weight, you may have to discard items in order to meet the strict criteria for the flight between Antigua and Barbuda.
