At Brooklyn College, we offer introductory and elective courses in archaeology during the fall and spring semesters. Students may also work in the laboratory of the Brooklyn College Archaeological Research Center. During the summer sessions, students may enroll for the Summer Archaeological Field School.
Currently we are conducting analysis on the archaeological remains from City Hall Park. Excavated in 1998 the collection includes materials from Revolutionary War British barracks and the Almshouse. A web site is currently under construction.
Recently we completed work at the Hendrick I. Lott House in Brooklyn, New York. This project is on the web at our Lott House Page or at the interactive dig site of Archaeology Magazine.
