The agenda focused around the questions we need to provide the facilitators for the Open Dialogue sessions. One proposed question was-
- How does exposure to new/numerous cultures affect our identity (political identity)?

We identified the following as influences or scopes of identity that follows from that-

Identity Causes

Cultural
Gender
Occupation Education
Ethnicity
Geographics
Economic Status
Sexual Orientation
Recreational Activity
Religion
Media / Advertising
Economic Pattern

Affected Identity

Political
Community
Power Dynamics
Age Self-Esteem
Consumer Identity

Ethics / Morality

The questions proposed to prompt or direct the discussions in this direction are the following-

1- What are the effects on families from economic trends (globalization)?

2- What are the effects on political identity from (ref. the above list)?

These questions are drafts and we require your comments to fill out / fine tune them...

We also discussed some of the topic matter for the Quality Educ. session.

We proposed that factors to be considered are quality of
Faculty (qualifications)
Students (Intelligence)
Curriculum

It was also suggested that we have members of the panel present their individual view of the history of the quality of education at BC from the time that it was free to the present day. This would be done as an intro into the discussions.
