1/ Survey
Survey will be done by Tuesday 10/14 so that it can be distributed @ the first AOD event on that date.

We felt it was important to discuss the proposed topics first and then make question about them for the Survey.

The front of the Survey should be composed of Yes/No questions that relate to the topics so that people will have a better idea of what the topics mean when they have to rank them.

Topics to be covered on the survey:
1/ Tuition Hike
2/ Budget Cuts to Financial Aid
3/ Increases in Rent and ability to find affordable housing

4/ Problems in the Middle East: how this affects relationships on campus


5/ Segregation and Racism on Campus


6/ Economic effects of Globalization: issue of jobs that a BA degree prepares you for leaving the country as well as sweatshops


7/ Immigration and the Patriot Act


8/ Duality of WomenÕs roles in Society


9/ Urban environmental issues/problems as related to quality of life in the city


10/ Future of CUNY


11/ Quality of Education at Brooklyn College

1/ Would you go to a democratically structured debate on one of these topics? (the ones listed above) Y/N

2/ Using the numbers 1 through 5, 5 being of greatest importance, rank the following issues in terms of their importance to your life and your goals. [ you can use the same rank for more than one topic] **insert topic list and add "Other" section to add in things not listed.

3/ Do you find it difficult to approach people outside of your community? (a community being an association of individuals around a particular unifying idea.  Examples: family, ethnic community, social groups, economic/political) Y/N
