1.Staff
A. Responsibilities:
i. answer phones/email
ii. disseminate info for people who request it
iii. publish minutes of meetings
iv. contact outside participants
v. arrange meetings
vi. coordinating with clubs
B. Number of people 2 (which has now changed to three as of 8/4/03

C. Time frame:
1 August 2003 to February 2004

D. Number of Hours and Pay
Number of hours TBA. Pay: one person will get $2000 for the time frame and the other will get $1000 and work less hours.

E. Seraphina will do this if possible.

4. Off campus contact
A. Jobs with Justice, CUNY for All, NY Social Forum

B. We need to discuss how to do outreach to non-traditional interests in this sort of project

2. Outreach
A. Meet with clubs: get people involved

B. Discuss:
i. range of events
ii. goal of summit
iii. explain project
iv. expectations for the summit

C. Have a meeting in the next two weeks for campus clubs and off campus groups
We had a discussion about how to do this and if we should invite the public to such an event. Decided not to invite the public.

D. Contact campus groups like Presidential Ambassadors and Honors
Other issues: ask the Provost about AOD staff access to the campus when the campus is closed.

5. Website/Media/Flyers
This item was not discussed in detail expect for approval of the idea of making flyers for distribution on campus and in the community.
The website will be designed by Seraphina with assistance from Lu Ann if she can give it.
