Barbara Epstein Gruber
was born in Baltimore, MD, in 1958. In 1996 she graduated summa cum laude
from the Maryland Institute of Art with a BFA in painting. She is a recipient
of the Mandelbaum Memorial Scholarship, the Francis Burns Harvey Scholarship,
and the Lessans Family Arts Scholarship. At Brooklyn College she received
the Charles G. Shaw award for excellence in art. After graduation Barbara
will be teaching at Johns Hopkins University and Howard Community College.
Her work will be published in New American Paintings 2000. |
