A. Eunice Ahmad was born in Puerta Plata, Dominican Republic, where she studied Fine Arts at the Academia de Arte Rafael.She came to the United States in 1975. Since then, she has had a one-person show of still-lifes in Puerta Plata in 1981 and participated in the group show "Artistas Puertoplatenos" in 1992.Eunice received her undergraduate degree from Brooklyn College, graduating cum laude in 1997. She received the Charles G. Shaw award for excellence in art at Brooklyn College, both as an undergraduate in 1997, and twice as a graduate in 1999 and 2000.
