Jaqueline Malanga, born in 1971 in Peekskill, NY, graduated from University at Buffalo with a degree in sociology and women's studies. Largely a self-taught artist, she spent several years after college making art on her own. While at Brooklyn College, she has acted as a curator of graduate exhibitions for the Department of Art Gallery in Boylan Hall.
