Our one-month program (Summer I & Winter Intersession), open to any CUNY campus & other colleges in the U.S., helps you gain first-hand experience through a meaningful combination of:

1. Teaching in real sites about Chinese history, culture, business and language,
2. Well-planned activities and excursions to famous cities of Beijing, Xi'an, Nanjing, Suzhou, Hangzhou and Shanghai, &
3. Side trips to Hong Kong, Sanya (Oriental Hawaii), Guilin, Yellow Mountain (most beautiful mountain in the world) and Tibet.

Three Weeks in Nanjing

After tours in Beijing and Xi’an, we stay in Nanjing for 3 weeks for formal class sessions, and conclude the program with tours in Suzhou/Hangzhou and Shanghai.

Nanjing is a famous historical city (as the capital of 10 dynasties in Chinese history); it is also a charming modern metropolis, with dozens of colleges and universities. Our hotel is right in the center of the city, by the picturesque Xuanwu Lake/Park, in an area with many restaurants, tea houses, coffee shops (Starbucks close by), bookstores, museums, cinemas, temples, supermarkets, nightclubs, hospitals, shopping malls, subway, etc. The hotel, with beautiful views of the surrounding area, is equipped with all necessary conveniences (e.g., AC in summer, heat in winter, laundry service, phones for domestic and international calls, and internet access).
