REQUIREMENTS CHECK LIST (16 COURSES)

Eco/Bus 3410, BUSN 3430, BUSN 3200, BUSN 3100, BUSN 3240, and a business
capstone seminar.
To BMF majors: Please note that if you wish to double major in BMF and
Accounting (NON-CPA Track; code = 004), you will only need to take the
following courses: ACCT 3001, 3011, 3021, 3041,
3051, 3101; and one of the following:
ACCT 4001, 4011, 4501, or 4101.
For the CPA track (Code=003), take ACCT 3001, 3011, 3021, 3041, 3051,
3101, 4001, 4011, 4501,
and 4201.
Also, make sure to take CISC 1050; and PHIL 3314 or SPEC 2623, not the
other alternatives. You also need to take either BUSN 3330 or BUSN/ECON 3320 to
satisfy
the finance requirements for the Accounting major.

Business
Electives (2 Courses)
Two
additional electives in business not used to satisfy the Business Core or
Capstone Seminar requirement.
To
satisfy this requirement, students may take:
(a) any two courses with a business prefix including internships.
(b)
one or two courses with a different
prefix if cross-listed with a business course; for example, CISC 1590 which is cross-listed with
BUSN 3420.
(c)
The following courses may also be used to satisfy the business electives
requirement:
ACCT 3001, 3041, 3051, 3101, 4201, ECON 3202, 3342, 3352, 3363, MATH 2601, PSYC
3171.
What we suggest you take to satisfy this requirement is two courses in an area
that interests you. For example, if you are interested in finance, take
two advanced finance classes,
if you are
interested in marketing, take two advanced marketing classes., etc.
Internships are another possibility.
Capstone
