REQUIREMENTS CHECK LIST (16 COURSES)

40.3, and an 80.x seminar.
To BMF majors: Please note that if you wish to double major in BMF and
Accounting (NON-CPA Track; code = 004), you will only need to take the
following courses: ACCT 2, 3, 5, 7, 21, 30; and one of the following:
ACCT 10, 11, 14W, or 31.
For the CPA track (Code=003), take ACCT 2, 3, 5, 7, 21, 30, 10, 11, 14W,
and 41.
Also, make sure to take CIS 5.2, not CIS 1.5; and Philo 14 or Speech 23, not the
other alternatives. You also need to take either Bus 70.3 or Bus/Eco 70.1 to
satisfy
the finance requirements for the Accounting major.

Electives (2 Courses)[This change in the business
electives takes effect in Fall 2009]
Two
additional electives in business not used to satisfy the Business Core or
Capstone Seminar requirement.
To
satisfy this requirement, students may take:
(a) any two courses with a business prefix including internships (bus 97.5 and
bus 97.6).
(b)
one or two courses with a different
prefix if cross-listed with a business course; for example, CIS 9.2 which is cross-listed with Business
31.3.
(c)
The following courses may also be used to satisfy the business electives
requirement:
Accounting
2, 7, 21, 30, 41, Computer & Information Science 48, Economics 20.2, 75.2,
76.1, 76.3, Mathematics 74.1, Psychology 12.
What we suggest you take to satisfy this requirement is two courses in an area
that interests you. For example, if you are interested in finance, take
two advanced finance classes such as bus 70.3 and bus 70.5.
If you are
interested in marketing, take two advanced marketing classes such as bus 50.7
