Brooklyn College of the City University of New York

During the time period beginning in June 2007 and ending in May 2008, the Business Program faculty of the Department of Economics at Brooklyn College have been quite active with numerous scholarly activities. There were 36 full-length journal articles published or accepted for publication. The English language version of the book published by the chairperson, Robert I. Bell, PhD, has continued to attract a lot of attention. Besides scholarly journals, faculty wrote articles for magazines and newspapers to further disseminate their work to the lay public. Six grants were obtained. Faculty presented or are scheduled to present 57 different presentations, with some being included in conference proceedings. Faculty have been interviewed and quoted in the media. Faculty serve as editor-in-chief and on the editorial boards of numerous publications. Faculty have conducted research with students and there have been 1 journal article and 7 conference presentations that include student co-authors.
