Brooklyn College of the City University of New York

During the time period beginning in June 1, 2008 and ending on May 30, 2009, the Business Program faculty of the Department of Economics at Brooklyn College have been quite active with numerous scholarly activities. There were 44 full-length journal articles published or accepted for publication. Besides scholarly journals, faculty wrote articles for magazines and newspapers to further disseminate their work to the lay public. Nine grants were obtained. Faculty presented or are scheduled to present 48 different presentations, with some being included in conference proceedings. Faculty have been interviewed and quoted in the media. Faculty serve as editor-in-chief and on the editorial boards of numerous publications. Faculty have conducted research with students and there have been 7 journal articles and 10 conference presentations that include student co-authors. One of the student presentations won an award at the conference. Contact information for faculty is listed at the end of this newsletter.
