The New York Collaborative for Excellence in Teacher
Preparation is a citywide project designed to increase
the number of college graduates entering science and
mathematics teaching at all academic levels and better
equipping them for teaching in these subject areas so
that they will, in turn, be able to instruct and motivate
students effectively.
