Membership is open to all members of the instructional staff.  That includes full and part-time faculty, HEO's and CLT's.   New faculty/HEOs/CLTs get a free membership for their  first year. Join us and become a part of Brooklyn College's dynamic Faculty Circle!          Meet your colleagues in a leisure setting by joining Faculty Circle and participating in our social, intellectual and fund-raising events. Our holiday parties and happy hours are a fun opportunity to meet people casually and have a good time talking, laughing, telling stories and enjoying refreshments.  For intellectual stimulation, we offer lunch-time seminars where someone discusses his/her research or special interests. You would be welcome to host a lunch-time seminar and share your thoughts and interests on a subject that you feel passionately about. Our fund-raising events are entertaining and rewarding. Each year we raise several thousand dollars for student scholarships and the library through auctions, raffles, event admission and membership dues. The funds we raise help deserving students meet part of the cost of their education and enable the library to purchase special materials that fill an information need for the campus community. 

Visit the Faculty Lounge in Room 1238 Boylan Hall to relax in a comfortable chair or enjoy a cup of tea or coffee with your friends. Although the lounge is active throughout the year with special events , holiday parties, beer and wine tastings, most of the time it is also a great place for a quiet getaway when you need to rest or work without interruptions.
