Directions to Brooklyn College and ISAM
Brooklyn College is located in the heart of Brooklyn. The campus is easily reached by subway. The ISAM office is located in Whitehead Hall, Room 415. Whitehead Hall is on the north east part of the campus, near Gershwin Hall and across from Boylan Library.
SUBO, the Student Union Building, is located on Campus Road across from the College Campus.
SUBWAY
IRT: Take the Flatbush bound no. 2 or no. 5 train. The station is on Flatbush and Nostrand. Walk one block south to the campus. Note: The 5 train runs only during rush hours.
IND: Brighton local (Q) to Avenue H station (Avenue H and East 16th Street) and walk east along Avenue H to campus (stadium side). For bus connection, take the Q to the Avenue J station. (See bus below.)
BUS
Avenue J (B6) or (B11) to Bedford Avenue and Campus Road. 18th Avenue (B8) to Foster and Flatbush Avenue. Flatbush Avenue (B41) to Nostrand Avenue. Nostrand Avenue (B44) to Flatbush Avenue. Ocean Avenue (B49) to Avenue H. Green Bus Line (Q35) to Flatbush and Nostrand Avenues.
LONG ISLAND RAILROAD
Long Island Railroad to Atlantic Avenue station; Transfer to IND Brighton local (D to Avenue H), or IRT subway (2 or 5 to Flatbush), or Flatbush Avenue bus (B41).
CAR
From Manhattan: Brooklyn Bridge to Brooklyn-Queens Expressway, heading south; Prospect Expressway east to Ocean Parkway; Ocean Parkway to Foster Avenue to Flatbush Avenue; Flatbush Avenue south to Avenue H (municipal parking lot).
Alternate Routes:
From Manhattan: Brooklyn-Battery Tunnel to Prospect Expressway.
From Staten Island and New Jersey: Verrazano-Narrows Bridge; Belt Parkway east to Flatbush Avenue; north on Flatbush to Avenue H; left on Avenue H.
From North Shore of Long Island: Jackie Robinson Parkway (formerly the Interboro Parkway) to last exit; Pennsylvania Avenue to Linden Boulevard - right on Linden to Kings Highway; left on Kings Highway to Avenue H; right on Avenue H to Campus Road.
From South Shore of Long Island: Sunrise Highway or Southern State Parkway to Belt Parkway; exit at Flatbush Avenue; north on Flatbush to Avenue H; left on Avenue H.
PARKING
Municipal Parking: Flatbush Avenue and Avenue H.
Metered Parking: Bedford Avenue, Campus Road, Nostrand Ave.
