Second Level: Students who have completed the First Level until they are Advanced to Candidacy.
Third Level: Students who have Advanced to Candidacy by completing all requirements except the Ph.D. Dissertation.
Financial Assistance
Financial assistance is available to full-time doctoral matriculants from the Office of Financial Aid at the Graduate Center through a program of fellowships (both service-connected and nonservice-connected), grants, assistantships, traineeships, part-time teaching positions, loans, and work-study assignments. It is granted on the basis of need and merit. Other teaching fellowships and research assistantships that provide stipends and partial tuition are available through the program in Experimental Psychology.
