Dr. Lee earned a doctorate at Teachers College, Columbia University. Also she taught infants, toddlers and preschools in different early childhood settings- both general and special education classrooms.

Dr. Lee’s areas of scholarly interest and research include experiences of children with developmental delays in early childhood special education settings, understanding early childhood leadership and collaborative relationships between researchers and teachers.

Current Research interests:

Social experiences of young children- Friendships, conflicts, play etc.

Teachers’ role in facilitating children’s learning and social experiences

Children with developmental delays in inclusive settings

Practitioner/teacher research- Collaboration between researchers and teachers

Understanding and deconstructing leadership in early childhood classrooms
