A graduate of Shan Dong Teachers’ University , China , with a master’s degree from Beijing Normal University , Xia (Lisa) Li earned her Ph.D. in Early Childhood Education from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana. Prof. Li’s research interests include children’s early number concepts, and English language acquisition through play.
