News of Interest is a daily electronic clipping service provided to the campus community by the Brooklyn College Office of Communications. Its primary purpose is to help faculty and staff to stay informed of higher education stories in the national and local press, with an additional focus on Brooklyn College in the news. Chisholm Center Uses History to Inspire Activism Barbara Winslow, project director of the Shirley Chisholm Center for Research on Women and coordinator of Women's Studies at Brooklyn College, hopes the materials will spur educators to teach their students about Chisholm's work and will inspire scholars and activists to learn from her example.
