Barbara Rosenfeld is an assistant professor in the School of Education at
Brooklyn College. She teaches graduate courses in educational technology,
specializing in the integration of technology tools in the classroom. She
has also taught graduate methods of teaching mathematics courses, and has
collaborated with Prof. Carolina Mancuso to
teach Introduction to Literacy Research, and with Prof.
Lisa Novemsky to teach Introduction to Research in Early Childhood
Education.
Prof.
Rosenfeld has also supervised graduate students in the Teaching Fellows
program, in which professionals who have been recruited by the New York
City Board of Education receive accelerated training to become teachers in
the New York City public schools.
Prof.
Rosenfeld received her master’s degree in teaching children mathematics
from William Paterson College and her Ph.D. in educational technology from
the University of Missouri-Columbia. Prior to joining the School of
Education faculty, Prof. Rosenfeld served as an assistant professor at
William Paterson University. She is a certified classroom teacher, having
taught elementary/middle school children in NJ. She is an experienced
conference presenter and has written articles on the integration of
technology in teaching.
