Christopher Brockmeyer
Adjunct Lecturer, Labor Relations for Performing Arts Management
Christopher Brockmeyer is Director of Labor Relations for Live Nation, the world’s leading live entertainment company.  Chris oversees the labor relations activities for the Company’s 100+ North American venues, its music promoting business, its theatre presenting operations and its role as a commercial theatre producer.  Under Chris’ direction, Live Nation’s labor department assists in the administration and negotiation of more than 120 union agreements to which the Company is a signatory.  He also represents Live Nation’s labor interests in the Company’s capacity as a member of the theatre industry trade association, the League of American Theatres and Producers.

Upon receiving his degree in Philosophy (B.A., University of Massachusetts at Amherst; M.A., New School University) Chris began his career in the field of labor relations working as a labor union representative.  After nearly 8 years of working for the performers’ unions, Actors’ Equity Association (AEA) and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA), he joined Live Nation (SFX Entertainment, Clear Channel Entertainment) in 2000.
