Paul recently joined Ford’s Theatre as Producing Director after a successful ten-year engagement at Houston’s Alley Theatre.  As Managing Director at the Alley, he produced more than one hundred productions, including national and international tours, and led the theatre to record financial success and stability.  During his stay at the Alley, he worked with some of theatre’s most talented artists, among them Edward Albee, Tony Kushner, Trevor Nunn, Corin Redgrave, Vanessa Redgrave, Frank Wildhorn, August Wilson and Robert Wilson.  Previously, he served as Director of Finance at Madison Square Garden and as a vice president with C.W. Shaver & Company, Inc., a New York management and fund-raising consulting firm.  He has also held senior management positions with Crossroads Theatre Company, New Jersey; Berkeley Repertory Theatre, California; and Circle Repertory Company, New York City.   He has served as a panelist for the National Endowment for the Arts; chair of the Theater District Association (Houston); on the National Council for the Atlantic Center for the Arts; and the executive committee, League of Resident Theatres (LORT).  He has taught and guest lectured at Brooklyn College, the University of Houston and Rice University.  Paul is a graduate of Emerson College and attended the Arts Administration Program at City University of New York-Brooklyn College.
