International Bibliography of Theatre and Dance

In addition to our various academic programs, Brooklyn College is the home base of the International Bibliography of Theatre (IBT), a culminating database now known as the International Bibliography of Theatre and Dance (IBTD), and now offered online by EBSCO Publishing as part of its Academic Search Premier Service.
Through and arrangement with EBSCO, Brooklyn College will continue to be involved with IBTD by coordinating the international participation in the project which was founded in 1984 by Brooklyn College Theater Department Professor Emeritus Benito Ortolani.
The IBTD is the most comprehensive multicultural and multidisciplinary research tool available to theater and dance students, educators, and professionals, and is a recipient of an award from the American Society for Theatre Research.
