Gary has worked in NYC theatre, television, film and commercials for over 20 years.

On television: The Sopranos, Law & Order, Law & Order: SVU, Law & Order: CI, 30 Rock, Knights of Prosperity, Onion Sports Dome, As the World Turns, Guiding Light and One Life to Live. Gary has appeared in national and regional commercials — notably in the national campaign for the business directory Yellow Book. On film: The Accidental Husband with Uma Thurman and Colin Firth, The Namesake, Analyze This, Celebrity, The Sweet & Lowdown, and award-winning festival films Shooting Johnson Roebling and What’s Your Sign? Gary also played the speed-walking coach in “Speed Creeper” for Manic Attack.

On stage: Gary appeared in the acclaimed premiere of The Hurricane Katrina Comedy Festival at FringeNYC at Soho Playhouse and the Lortel Theatre (winning the Best Production award).

Other Off-Broadway: Burn This with John Malkovich and Joan Allen/Circle Rep; Billy Budd/Circle-in-the-Square; The Kiss/Lincoln Center; Daddy Kathyrn/FringeNYC; To Kill a Mockingbird and The American Clock/Brave New World; Love! Valour! Compassion!/Schreiber Studios and many new and classical plays around the city including a dozen Shakespeare productions including: Macbeth at Soho Rep (Banquo/Porter); Twelfth Night (Aguecheek) at Riverside Shakespeare and the Henry Cycle (IV-1, IV-2 & V) at LaMaMa.

He has toured the country (23 states) and worked in regional theatres: The Laramie Project/Stageworks of Hudson; The Fantasticks/Two Rivers, Damn Yankees/Riverside Theatre; On Golden Pond/Fireside Theatre and appeared in the Tennessee Williams Theatre Festival in Provincetown — debuting new works of Tennessee. Gary was also in the LORT premiere of Take Me Out (for which he received a Carbonell Award nomination for playing Mason Marzak).

Gary is currently working on season 3 of the award-winning web series “Hustling,” where he’s a series regular and a producer. The series has won several awards including recognition from the Webby Awards and the Indie Soap Award for Best Ensemble.

Gary has taught Acting with the Camera at Brooklyn College since 2004. He also coaches privately and studies with Michael Howard at the Michael Howard Studios. Each year since 1992, Gary has lead a team for AIDS Walk NY benefitting GMHC. His team has raised over $250,000.
