2007 STOCS Grants Information & Eligibility Requirements
With the assistance of a renewal grant from the New York Community Trust DeWitt Wallace/Youth Travel Enrichment Fund, the City University of New York is offering Study/Travel Opportunities for CUNY Students (STOCS) Grants. STOCS Grants assist CUNY undergraduate students participating in short term CUNY study abroad programs by awarding $500 to $1,500 scholarships.
The Brooklyn College Summer Program in London has qualified for STOCS funding funding for Summer 07. After reading the elibility requirements below, please go to the CUNY STOCS page to download the application.

To be elgible for a STOCS Grant, CUNY undergraduate students MUST meet all of the following criteria and MUST submit a complete application by the STOCS application deadline, usually in late March:
- All applicants must file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form at their school's financial aid office no later than 09 February 2007. We strongly encourage studens to fill out the application through the U.S. Department of Education's FAFSA website at: www.fafsa.ed.gov. (See part C-1 of application.)
- Only CUNY students who will participate in STOCS-eligible CUNY study abroad programs are eligible. (Students must have applied to a STOCS-eligible study abroad program before submitting a STOCS application.)
- Students must be matriculated undergraduates at the time of studying abroad.
- Students must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents of the U.S.
- Students with household incomes of more than $65,000 are not elgible (as stipulated by the New York Community Trust).
- Previous STOCS scholarship recipients are not elgible.
