Financial Aid and Scholarships Information

Federal Pell Grants (available to all students) and Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) Awards (available to NY State college students) may be used to pay for tuition in this program but not for the program fees. Student loans may be used to pay for either tuition or program fees. Students wishing to use Pell Grants, TAP Awards, or student loans to pay any of the summer program tuition or fees should file a FAFSA or FAFSA update no later than early January of the year in which summer study will take place. Please be aware that using financial aid to pay for summer courses will affect the dispersement of your financial aid award for the fall and spring semesters. However, it does not affect your total award. In other words, you receive the same amount of money for the academic year, but it is distributed differently. See the "Financial Aid Fact Sheet" on our Forms page for more details.

Brooklyn College students can visit the Brooklyn College Financial Aid webpage for information on Pell Grants, TAP Awards, and student loans. (Other students should contact the Financial Aid office at their home universities.)

In addition to the financial aid programs listed above, CUNY undergraduate students participating in the Summer Program in Lodon may apply for STOCS Grants, which range from $500 to $1,500. If you are currently receiving financial aid, then you mostly likely qualify for one of these grants. Click here for more info on STOCS Grants.
