Robert Gottlieb, Chisholm’s first student intern Student organizer
Robert Gottlieb is currently an attorney in New York City. While a student at Cornell University, he was awarded a scholarship that allowed him to work in the office of Shirley Chisholm. Gottlieb also went on to work on college campuses organizing students for her 1972 presidential campaign and was a delegate for Chisholm at the 1972 Democratic national convention.
