What is in the Archive?



The Jim Pitts (1972 Massachusetts presidential campaign manager) Collection, which includes hand original written notes from Shirley Chisholm, bumper stickers and campaign buttons from her 1972 Presidential campaign, as well as original Newsletters and press releases.
 
The Nick Stefanizzi (Chisholm's staff worker in Brooklyn) Collection, includes handwritten letters from Shirley Chisholm, autographed photographs of Shirley Chisholm, programs/flyers from events.
 
The Barbara Winslow Brooklyn Pro Choice Action Committee Collection includes the personal papers from Barbara Winslow when she was an active member of  the Brooklyn Pro Choice Action Network from 1984-1996.   The Brooklyn Pro-Choice Network works to protect the reproductive rights of all women to determine their mental and physical reproductive health, regardless of their
economic status.
